Former head of Marin Horizon School worked with Marin County DPW to apply for a Safe Routes grant for a sidewalk.

In May of 2011, at the MHS/HVCA Joint Committee meeting, Roz Hamar read aloud a letter by Supervisor Kinsey, which suggested she have parents write letters to lobby the DPW for the sidewalk.
Our neighborhood group made several attempts to reach out to MHS to join our community in an effort to preserve our semi-rural environment and 100% safety record.
However, we received no response to several emails, and were referred to the Joint HVCA/MHS committee.
