Another Accident on Evergreen

Recently, a current resident of Evergreen who shall remain nameless, posted photos on facebook of a car that had been smashed as a result of yet another accident on Evrrgreen. Those photos have now been deleted.
But the event still happened.

So much for the County's "safer route" and "we are not allowed to make things worse."

Moral of this story is, "When concerned citizens point out lies on a grant application, don't go forward with the project!"

Concrete/Cement and CO2

This question came up sometime between 2010 and 2012, during the great Evergreen sidewalk debate. I did not have the answer then, and this article crossed my newsfeed this morning, so I am placing it here.

This article may not seem to be related to Evergreen, but if you have been paying attention, you will understand how and why it is.
